2024 KPCA Awards Nominations
The Kentucky Primary Care Association (KPCA) presents different awards that recognize the professional accomplishments of our members. Award nominations are open to all KPCA members.
Joseph E. Smith Award
Named after the longtime CEO of Kentucky Primary Care Association, this award was established in 2019 to recognize the significant contribution to the furtherance of primary care in Kentucky.
Cherie Judd Spirit Award
The late Cherie Judd was the Chief Financial Officer for Juniper Health, Inc. An award has been recommended in her name by both of her former CEOs at Juniper Health. This award is to be given by KPCA staff to an employee of a member clinic who has gone above and beyond to enhance the success of their organization, meeting their mission and the mission of KPCA.
Chuck Morgan Memorial Award
This award was created in 2022 to honor the late Chuck Morgan, former Chief Financial Officer of Kentucky Primary Care Association. Chuck personified the core values of KPCA through his kindness and dedication to improving primary care access across Kentucky.
Aaron Brown Emerging Leader Award
In 1996, The KPCA Board of Directors established the Aaron Brown Emerging Leader Award to recognize individuals who have made a significant contribution to the furtherance of primary health care in Kentucky. Aaron was an extremely effective individual in the CHC movement and services to the underserved.
Lois Baker Exemplary Service Award
Lois Baker was the founding member of KPCA. To honor her, the KPCA Board of Directors created the Exemplary Service Award in her name. To be considered for this award, the nominee must have demonstrated a similar level of commitment, effort and success in increasing access to quality health care services in an underserved area of Kentucky.
